It is a community-based program emphasizing employment and independent living skills and is provided by Independent School District 196. Transition Plus Services helps students achieve their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and objectives by providing specialized education and support in three key areas of transition; Employment, Education and Training, Independent Living which includes Community Participation, Recreation & Leisure and Home Living.

Using an IEP process, students receive support, resources, and training with choices based on individual need in the three transition areas.
